EDC Celebrates 10 Years Assisting Iowa Entrepreneurs

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA—SEPTEMBER 9, 2013—The EDC will mark its 10th Anniversary on Thursday, September 12, with a networking celebration at Cedar Ridge Winery, Vineyards & Distillery in Swisher, IA. Entrepreneurs, community leaders, vendors and resources will be on hand to commemorate the business accelerator’s impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Creative Corridor. The event is free and is sponsored by Tallgrass Business Resources (http://tallgrassbiz.com).

In addition to networking, several EDC clients and supporters will talk about the accelerator’s role in Iowa’s economic vitality. The list of speakers for the evening includes:

In its 10 years, EDC entrepreneur members have raised and employed over $200 million in capital, generated over $350 million in new revenue and created 2,000 new jobs in Iowa.
