IOWA CITY, IA – July 29, 2013 –Anna Sobaski, Founder and President of Iowa City-based Breads From Anna, will be featured as a guest chef at Zins Restaurant on Wednesday, August 7. The evening will feature a four-course gluten-free meal paired with wine and will begin at 5:30 pm with cocktails. Advance reservations are required. Sobaski is a trained chef and celiac herself. The special menu that Sobaski has crafted will feature locally grown meats and produce prepared with several Breads From Anna gluten and allergen free baking mixes. The evening’s menu costs $45 per guest (plus tax and gratuity) and will include:
- Gluten-free breads, herb and plain, with olive oil and balsamic for dipping
- Caesar salad with gluten-free croutons
- Buttermilk Iowa pork chops (with gluten-free bread crumbs) with a side of warm potato salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing
- Salmon cakes (with gluten-free bread crumbs) with a side of steamed green beans sautéed in olive oil and garlic with ribbons of fresh basil
- Mixed berry tart served with crème fraiche (with gluten and yeast free pie crust mix)
