EDC Client, Clickstop, Adds Five New Employees

URBANA, IA–DECEMBER 13, 2012–EDC client, Urbana-based Clickstop, continues its growth trend with new additions to front line and operations-focused staff, as well as the promotions of three current employees.

The warehouse staff recently welcomed Jon Larson and Jobe Heick to the Warehouse and Fulfillment team at the company’s Blue Creek Drive location. Larson, a Cedar Rapids native, focuses on ground expedited orders. Heick is from West Liberty and is working in the areas of pre-packing and picking orders. Both Larson and Heick work primarily with the US Cargo Control division of the company.

Other changes in the Warehouse and Fulfillment team include the promotion of Cody Smith to the role of Warehouse Supervisor. Smith’s duties include overseeing the picking and shipping of ground, expedited, and other orders, as well as the accuracy of these shipments.  Smith joined the company as a part-time Warehouse Associate in 2011.

In keeping with the increased customer demand for products from Clickstop-owned brands, the company has hired two new employees to support service and operational requirements.

Dustin Roster has joined the sales team as a Sales Specialist.  A Vinton resident, Roster joins Clickstop after several years at Wells Fargo bank in Urbana. He is working in the US Cargo Control division. Also a Vinton resident, Carla Weeks comes to Clickstop after working as a realtor in the area. Carla works with the Customer Service team across several of the company’s brands including US Cargo Control, Moving StartUp and TeamStrap, and also works with customers through Clickstop’s Amazon.com account.

One of the newest departments at the company, the Mission and Culture group, recently welcomed Nikki Dudley into the role of Culture/Wellness Coordinator. Dudley is a resident of Vinton and also owns an art studio in Vinton. Nikki’s duties at Clickstop include managing the company’s Healthy Eating Program as well as assisting in the development of company culture programs.

Clickstop CEO Tim Guenther has also named Merchandising/Content Team Lead, Sarah Barron, to VP Marketing and Tom Altman to Director of E-Commerce for the US Cargo Control division.

In her new role, Barron will oversee both the merchandising and marketing groups to focus on the strategic planning of products and promotions. Altman will be responsible for the creative function of the marketing team, including web design, front-end programming, and project management.

The e-commerce business, which Guenther began in 2005, is growing in size as well as employees. In July construction began on a warehouse expansion that will add nearly 43,000 square feet to the company’s headquarters. The addition is slated to be finished this month.
