Three EDC Clients Make 2010 Inc. 5000 List

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA – August 24, 2010 – Three EDC clients have been named to the 2010  Inc. 5000 list, a ranking of the fastest growing private companies in the United States. Involta, a full-service data center based in Marion, Iowa, placed 40th on the 2010 Inc.500 list with a three-year growth rate of more than 5,438%. In the IT Services category, Involta was ranked as the second fastest growing company in America. Urbana-based online retailer Clickstopplaced 1,122 (with a three-year growth rate of 267%) on the overall list and 57th in the Retail category. Geonetric, a web solutions provider for the healthcare industry, headquartered in Cedar Rapids, made the list for the fourth year in a row and was number 2,853 on this year’s list (with a three-year growth rate of 77%).

Clickstop is a multi-channel retailer of several specialty category brands. The Company’s goal is to grow sales and improve margins for its brands through strategic application of inbound marketing techniques. Clickstop broke ground this summer on a 35,500 square foot facility in Urbana.

Geonetric helps hospitals and health systems develop and implement web strategies to engage their patients and communities online. Its clients range from large health systems to small specialty hospitals.

These three companies will be featured in the September issue of Inc. magazine. There are 23 other Iowa-based companies on this year’s list. The Inc. 5000 list is a ranking of United States-based, privately held, for profit and independent companies according to percentage revenue growth for the last three years. These EDC clients join a select group of companies identified by Inc. magazine to receive this award, a symbol of American business ingenuity and ambition.
