EDC Client Collective Data Announces Move to New Building in Historic NewBo District of Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids, Iowa – April 8, 2016 – Collective Data, Inc., a leading provider of fleet and asset management software systems, has announced plans to relocate to a brand-new building located in the NewBo district in downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The building is being built and is scheduled to be completed September of this year.
The NewBo district is a growing community in downtown Cedar Rapids that has become the tech center for many businesses and community events. Restaurants, local businesses, and networking events will be within walking distance. Jason Wonase, President and CEO of Collective Data, says that the new location will be good for employees, collaboration, productivity, and recruitment.

“Collective Data has been on a very consistent growth pattern and with the introduction of our web-based products that growth is accelerating,” said Jason Wonase, President and CEO of Collective Data. “With the addition of new employees and constant recruitment, we wanted a place that was local to the community’s talent. We also wanted a space that accurately reflected Collective Data’s culture of creativity, health, and life balance.”

The new location will feature over 12,700 square feet of space with the interior being professionally designed by Saxton, a local Iowa commercial interior strategy company. A major emphasis is being placed on incorporating a mix of open and collaborative environments with unique working spaces, meeting areas, and quiet zones. The space will also promote health through sitting and standing desks, proximity to outdoor walking trails, and an on-premise gym.
