DECEMBER 15, 2010—URBANA, IA—In September, EDC Client, Clickstop, purchased SpaceSavers, a 20-year player in the housewares industry offering storage and organization products and small furniture items. The Clickstop team has pulled together in the past few months to rebrand and re-design the website to make it their own.
Formerly, SpaceSavers operated 5 brick-and-mortar stores in North Carolina, in addition to the website. Unlike the model employed by the previous owner, Clickstop will operate SpaceSavers solely as an online store with complementary inbound phone sales and service. All of Clickstop’s 11 brands operate in this manner.
The SpaceSavers web site offers nearly 3,000 products from over 50 different vendors. Popular brands include Sterilite, Organize it All, Household Essentials, Iris, Rubbermaid, Richards, InterDesign, and Spectrum. The company plans to add another 20 vendors within the next several weeks, pending delivery of inventory.
